You can now fill out a Maryland voter registration form online.
You can also download the Maryland Voter Registration Application below and fill it out following the instructions provided with it.
How do I change my party affiliation?
You can now also change your party affiliation online or submit a new Maryland Voter Registration Application or a signed written request to your county Board of Elections.
I just moved. What do I do about my registration?
You can now update your registration online to reflect a change of name or address. You can also notify your county Board of Elections of your address change by submitting a new Voter Registration Application or a signed written notice.
If you complete a Change of Address form at the Motor Vehicle Administration, those changes are sent to your county Board of Elections (unless you had indicated on the form that you did not want to change your voter registration information).
Please note that it is your responsibility to make sure that your voter registration change has been received and processed. Accordingly, if you do not receive your new Voter Notification Card within three weeks, contact your county Board of Elections.
What if I can't make it to the polls on election day?
You can request an Absentee ballot application for 2016 elections (PDF). You can fill out this form online, but you must print, sign and mail in your application to your county Board of Elections or to the State Board of Elections.
